TaylorMade R5 Dual Driver / Flex Regular / Loft 10.5

Are you tired of losing distance and direction on your drives? Then the TaylorMade R5 Dual is a driver that can help you get off to a great start.

You get a 450 cc titanium head that nearly reaches the maximum limit — and you can feel it. The large head provides an expanded sweet spot and plenty of confidence when you step up to the tee.

This is a driver developed with a focus on forgiveness and stability.

R5 Dual is built with Inverted Cone Technology, which provides a larger effective hitting area and more consistent ball speed — even when you don’t strike it right in the center. The result is longer and straighter drives, even on off-center hits.

The low and deep placement of the center of gravity combined with two fixed TLC weight cartridges creates high MOI. That means:

• More stable club through impact

• Less twisting during the swing

• Higher ball flight with less spin

• Straighter and more consistent shots

In short: It helps you when you can’t do everything perfectly yourself.

Who is it suited for?

• You who are new to the game and want maximum help from the tee

• You who struggle with wayward drives and want more stability

• You who want a classic TaylorMade-driver with proven technology

It is a driver that suits a game where control and confidence are more important than shaping shots in every direction. It gives you confidence on the tee and makes it easier to keep the ball in play.

TaylorMade R5 Dual came to market in the mid-2000s and became known as one of the most forgiving drivers TaylorMade had made at the time. Still a strong partner if you want stability and a straighter ball flight.

A solid, time-tested driver — and a really nice way to get more good tee shots during the round.
