TaylorMade Burner Driver / Flex Ladies / Loft 13 - Description

TaylorMade Burner (2009) is for you if you want pure speed off the tee – and to feel the ball really go.

The Burner series is one of the most iconic metalwood lines in golf history. Right back from the 80s, the name has been synonymous with speed and distance. The 2009 version builds on that legacy – and was described as the longest driver TaylorMade had made at the time.

This is a classic 460 cc driver with a bullet-shaped head that looks fast – and feels that way. The subtle alignment markings make it easy for you to aim properly and stand confidently over the ball.

The technologies make the difference:

- SuperFast design that helps you increase your swing speed

- Dual Crown construction, which moves the center of gravity lower and farther forward for higher launch and lower spin

- Inverted Cone, which provides high MOI and more forgiveness on off-center hits

What does that mean for you?

More distance. More stability. More straight drives – even when you don’t strike it perfectly.

It’s a perfect fit for golfers of all levels who want a forgiving driver with plenty of speed. Especially good for those who want high launch and solid carry without having to work too hard for it.

In short: A powerful and forgiving driver that helps you get the maximum out of your swing – and gives your playing partners something to watch from the tee.

What is refurbed?

refurbed is an online marketplace that serves as a one-stop-shop for sustainable consumption in various categories: electronics, household appliances, sports, and more.

Why should one buy from refurbed?

At refurbed, we offer you a more sustainable alternative to conventional sports goods. All sports goods listed on our platform are either refurbished or newly made from recycled materials. This way, we reduce the dependence on new resources, reduce waste, and lower CO₂ emissions. In addition, for every item sold, we support environmental protection projects. For our Irish customers, we also give you the option to plant a native tree for free, with our partner Reforest Nation. Furthermore, you have a 30-day free trial and a minimum 12-month warranty on every product. This way, you can shop with us without any risk.

What does "refurbished" mean?

These are products that are either used or can no longer be sold as new. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.

How is “refurbished” classified?

We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
