Callaway XR Fairway wood / Flex Regular / #5/18 - Description

Golf is more than just a game – it’s an experience. And with Callaway XR Fairway Wood you can take your game to new heights. This fairway wood is for you who want more speed and longer distances from the fairway, whether you are a beginner or an experienced player.

The benefits are as clear as both our ears. XR Fairway Wood delivers impressive speed and distance, thanks to Callaway’s Forged Hyper Speed Face Cup technology. With a face that is 36% thinner and a sweet spot that is 16% larger, you have a better chance of hitting the spot – even when the shot isn’t quite perfect.

The redesigned head shape with flatter leading edges and a shallow face makes it easy for you to get the ball up in the air. It’s a gift for you who struggle a bit with those difficult fairway shots. And then there is the clever Intern Standing Wave technology, which moves the center of gravity 20% lower – so you get less spin and more distance.

All this in one indispensable fairway wood, which suits any playing style. Ready to give you confidence and joy on the course. Whatever your level, you can count on more forgiveness and distance on every single shot. It’s time to experience freedom with Callaway XR Fairway Wood. Ready, set, golf!

What is refurbed?

refurbed is an online marketplace that serves as a one-stop-shop for sustainable consumption in various categories: electronics, household appliances, sports, and more.

Why should one buy from refurbed?

At refurbed, we offer you a more sustainable alternative to conventional sports goods. All sports goods listed on our platform are either refurbished or newly made from recycled materials. This way, we reduce the dependence on new resources, reduce waste, and lower CO₂ emissions. In addition, for every item sold, we support environmental protection projects. For our Irish customers, we also give you the option to plant a native tree for free, with our partner Reforest Nation. Furthermore, you have a 30-day free trial and a minimum 12-month warranty on every product. This way, you can shop with us without any risk.

What does "refurbished" mean?

These are products that are either used or can no longer be sold as new. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. By giving these items a second life, we can both reduce waste and offer more affordable sports equipment.

How is “refurbished” classified?

We want to offer affordable and environmentally conscious sports equipment without compromising on quality. Each item undergoes a refurbishment and quality control process to ensure it meets the high quality you can expect from refurbed. All our "refurbed" items are in perfect operating condition and are primarily graded based on visible signs of wear:
Excellent: Minor, not immediately visible optical defects.
Very good: Minor, visible optical defects.
Good: Visible optical defects.

What does "recycled" mean?

In line with our circular thinking, refurbed Sports offers not only refurbished products, but also new sports equipment made from recycled materials. This includes upcycled materials, old stock, pre- and post-consumer recycling, and other waste. By reusing existing materials, we minimise waste, consume fewer resources, and contribute to a better environment.

How does refurbed guarantee the quality of the products?

Only professional and certified refurbishers are allowed to offer their products on refurbed. We monitor customer satisfaction and refurbisher performance closely and conduct regular quality tests to ensure an excellent shopping experience for all. And finally, all our refurbishers are based within the EU to enable fast delivery times and optimal contact with the refurbisher.

If you are not satisfied with your order, you can return it for free within the 30-day free trial. You can contact the refurbisher directly via your customer account and let them know that you want to exchange or return your item. Alternatively, you can of course also contact our refurbed customer service. We are happy to help and contact the refurbisher for you. You will receive a free return label from the refurbisher by email or in your customer account.

What are my warranty conditions?

We offer you a 12-month statutory warranty. This covers all defects, i.e. everything that is considered poor workmanship of the product and was not caused by your own actions.

Which environmental protection projects do we invest in?

We have planted over 6.6 million trees since our foundin, and we are very proud! We realised that planting trees alone does not tackle all of the environmental issues we a passionate about, however. That's why we now also support projects that
- restore landscapes — ecosystems are repaired and jobs are created, including tree planting along the way
- remove carbon from the atmosphere and store it permanently
- recycle electronic waste and reuse materials
