TaylorMade R9 Superdeep Driver / Flex Stiff / Loft 10.5

TaylorMade The R9 Superdeep TP is the driver for you if you don’t lack speed in your swing — but lack control of spin and ball flight.

This is a true players driver. A 460cc model with a compact look and plenty of attitude behind the ball.

Who is it for?

It is made for the strong player. The low- to mid-handicapper. You who hit hard — and who often see the ball spin too much and fly too high with other drivers.

What do you get?

• TaylorMade’s deepest clubface ever — Ultra-deep clubface at 2.55” • Forward CG which reduces spin and increases workability • Combined FCT and MWT technology

The deep clubface lowers spin and gives you the opportunity for a more penetrating ball flight. At the same time, you still get high launch when you strike it properly.

Center of gravity is positioned forward in the head. That means less spin and much better ability to shape your shots. Fade, draw, low stinger — you decide.

With Flight Control Technology, you can adjust loft, lie and face angle. Together with the adjustable weights in the heel and toe, you get an extremely wide range of setup options. Here you can really fine-tune launch and ball flight so it suits your swing.

How does it feel?

Despite the 460cc size, it looks compact at address. Black head. Black clubface. Clean and classic TP look.

It projects control and precision rather than forgiveness.

What type of game does it suit?

It suits aggressive, controlled play from the tee. For you who go for position and distance — with spin under control. It rewards a stable, technical swing and consistent contact.

In short: A no-compromise driver for the skilled player who wants lower spin, more control and the ability to work the ball.
