It’s one of Gibson’s most distinctive and collectible models from the mid-1980s. The instrument retained the original Vintage White finish, naturally yellowed, with a typical nitro checking on the body and the griffin. The Pickup Guitar is equipped with a set of original Gibson PAT NO humbuckers. 2,737,842 of the era. These are the right pickups for this period, appreciated for: strong means of expressive attack readability and dynamics of Gibson’s classic rock-metal sound from the 1980s Bridge (Kahler → Schaller) The XLP model was manufactured from the Kahler tremolo. In this copy, Kahler was replaced long ago with Schaller Steel Roller Trem – a solid, seamless bridge with roller saddles.
