The 1981 Yamaha SG1000, produced in Japan. It is one of the most valued models in Yamaha history and one of the best single-cut guitars ever made outside the US. The SG series was developed in collaboration with Carlos Santana and already in the early 1980s gained a reputation for instruments that could compete with American designs in terms of performance quality, outfit stability and sound.
