Kärcher AF 50 Air Purifier

The Kärcher AF 50 is a refurbished air purifier for living rooms, home offices and larger rooms of up to 100 m². Its multi-layer filter system with an H13 filter and activated carbon cleans indoor air of fine dust, allergens, odours and pathogens. The laser sensor detects how clean the air is, and the automatic mode adjusts the power for you. Each device is tested and refurbished, so you get a dependable helper for fresh air at a fair price. Details

Thorough filtration. The High Protect 13 filter removes pathogens and aerosols, while the activated carbon binds odours and chemical vapours. Filter efficiency is ≥ 99.95 % for particles of 0.3 µm. The filter lasts around 1 year, depending on air pollution and how intensively you use it.

Laser sensor and automatic mode. The high-quality laser sensor measures air pollution. In automatic mode, the power level adjusts by itself, so there is nothing for you to set.

Plenty of air for large rooms. Air intake on both sides (Dual Air Inlet System) ensures a high air flow of up to 520 m³/h. The recommended room size of up to 100 m² is based on a ceiling height of 3 m and 3 air changes per hour at the highest level.

Everything in view, easy to use. The colour display shows temperature, relative humidity, air quality as a PM 2.5 value in µg/m³, and filter and device status. You operate it by touch. With night mode, timer and lock function, you set the device up to suit your day.

Quiet and mobile. Smooth-running motors, fans and low-noise air guidance keep operation calm. At 9.3 kg, with dimensions of 290 × 290 × 580 mm and 4 swivel castors, you move it easily to wherever you need it.

Typical use

Your home office still smells of lunch, and there is plenty of pollen outside. Place the AF 50 next to your desk, switch on automatic mode and carry on working. The display shows you the air quality, and in the evening you switch to night mode.

What room size is the AF 50 suitable for? The AF 50 is designed for rooms of up to 100 m², based on a 3 m ceiling height and 3 air changes per hour at the highest power level. In smaller rooms, it works at an easier pace.
