Edwards E-LP-130JS guitar John Sykes produced in 2007 in Japan. The instrument was created as part of the Edwards line belonging to ESP Japan and was designed as a model inspired by the specification of guitars used by John Sykes (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, Blue Murder). It is a classic design of Les Paul Custom – a mahogany body with maple top, mahogany grif glued into the body and a hebnium fingerboard with block markers and binding. The JS model according to the catalog is equipped with Seymour Duncan Distortion : Neck – Seymour Duncan SH-6n Distortion Bridge – Seymour Duncan SH-6b Distortion This is a very strong, expressive set of transducers with a clear midrange and a large sustain – a configuration characteristic of John Sykes’ style. The guitar is very resonating and dynamic, with the typical Japanese Les Pauls long sustain and compact bass.
