European Data Act

Information on the EU Data Act (Regulation (EU) 2023/2854)

From 12 September 2025, the EU Data Act gives consumers new rights regarding data generated by connected products (for example: smart home devices, wearables, smart household appliances, smart entertainment devices, connected childcare products, and other consumer IoT products).

Consumer Rights

To comply with the law, consumers must receive clear information before purchase and afterward about:

  • - What data the product generates,
  • - Who has access to that data,
  • - For which purposes the data is used,
  • - How users can access or share their data with third parties.

Our Role as a Marketplace Platform

We act as an intermediary platform and do not manufacture the products sold here.
However, we are committed to ensuring that the required transparency information from the relevant manufacturers is available to you at or before the time of purchase.
To support that, we provide access to the Data Act information made available by the original manufacturers.
